Crew/Maintenance Worker

We are seeking a Crew/Maintenance Worker to support our farm located in Catskill, NY.


The Crew/Maintenance Worker will perform and/or assist with duties related to house recycle, minor equipment repair, flock removal and blood testing and other farm related tasks.

ESSENTAIL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: ¬ 



  • Perform house recycle including disassemble of houses and related equipment, washing, repairing, sanitizing and reassembling of houses.

  • Perform minor equipment repair.

  • Assist with flock removal, bird moves and bird sales.

  • Perform other farm related activities.

  • Fill in for house managers as needed.

  • Perform all other related duties as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS:



  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (G.E.D.)

  • 1-2 years related experience.

  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.

  • Valid Driver License with a good driving record.

  • Basic maintenance skills and experience; basic carpentry skills and experience.
